Everyone who knows me today—especially through Global Fast Fit—assumes I earned the nickname Instructor because of my energy during workouts or the way I lead GFF routines. Even Sean, our GFF social media manager, is convinced it’s a gym-born title. Truth be told, the story behind it is completely different—and a little mischievous. This is how it all began.

Riding Into Strength

When she first started cycling, it was simply a way to stay fit, but it quickly became her therapy—strengthening her body and calming her mind. A soft voice in her head often warned her to avoid steep climbs and difficult routes, insisting she wasn’t built for them. Over time, she began to push back, taking on one hill after another until each small victory slowly changed that inner dialogue. Instead of holding her back, the voice started guiding her forward, breaking long distances into small checkpoints and encouraging her to go just a little farther. Without realizing it, she transformed into someone who no longer stopped early, but consistently pushed herself beyond what she once believed she could do.

Finding Strength One Ride at a Time

In the end, the pain she had always avoided became her doorway to joy. Every ride left her with that warm, indulgent feeling—like the first bite of a perfectly baked cookie or the thrill of a long-awaited escape. Cycling became her elegant loophole: a way to outsmart pain by pedaling through it, trading a moment of discomfort for the lasting rush of endorphins and clarity. And somewhere along the journey, by riding into the very thing she once refused to face, she discovered a version of herself that was stronger, steadier, and more alive than she ever imagined.
