The team registered under the corporate category, bringing the total corporate athlete count to approximately 120. After registration, the team warmed up and prepared for the races.

Race Highlights The event kicked off with a 1 km CEO race, where company representatives competed. GFF Kenya’s team manager, James Muchiri, dominated this race, taking an early lead alongside a Major General from Kenya Defense University and a manager from Blue Line Security. In the final 100 meters, James unleashed a signature GFF sprint finish, securing first place and leaving his competitors behind.

The 4 km corporate race followed. The race conditions were challenging due to the intense heat, but well-placed water stations helped keep the athletes hydrated. The course included obstacles such as a muddy patch, hay bales (1/2 meter high), and 2 ditches (1/2 meters wide) that tested endurance and agility.

To manage the large number of participants, the ladies were flagged off first, followed by the men a few minutes later. The GFF gentlemen executed the Global Fast Fit Standard routine before joining the rest of the race. One of the GFF ladies finished first, while the top GFF gentleman finished in 8th place overall.
